My songI sat down quietly, in one of those piano-bar like things were there's mood lighting on every table. The whole room is subtle colors, as if even the people had received the message to leave their vibrants at home. Waitress's slowly filed out into the room as the night truly began to start, and instantly a little map of martini's spread across the tables of the room. When a cute blonde one in a tight black blouse approached me, asking me if I'd like a drink though - I quietly refused with a small smile. She turned away, but I knew she was intrigued. My song

First Novel ParagraphIan checked his watch silently before stepping out into the street, dimly bathed in moonlight. He crossed quickly, as to prevent being spotted by anyone who happened to be looking out their window; there were too many snitches in the poor end of town. Taking a deep breath, Ian rushed directly across the street and into a narrow passageway between two homes. Climbing over a small heap of garbage, Ian walked to the very end of the passageway. There he paused, and very similar to Madam Olivay he motioned with his hand. Recognizing him, the once solid wall shimmers slightly before fading, and reveals a staircase leading into a musty darkness. WitFirst Novel Paragraph
